Visual Arts at Maclay

Gallery: Maclay Students Show Creativity

Hard at Work - Junior Ella Tobe works on her AP Art portfolio featuring life through the lense of a child. “It’s about the memories you don't realize are core memories until they pass,” Tobe said.

A Mother’s Love - Junior Anna Hawken displays a piece of her AP Art portfolio. “The purpose is to display how the relationship between mother and daughter changes overtime, capturing how mothers shield their child’s innocence of childhood and protect them from worldly dangers,” Hawken said.

Meaningful Messages - AP Art students work hard to produce creative art that tells a story important to them.

Building Community - Maclay students come together to add colors to Maclay’s campus.

Creative Minds - Art teacher Katelyn Dressel gathers student volunteers to paint the second mural on campus.

Puzzle Pieces - Senior Zara Jaffe puts together a collage for AP Art.

Talented Artists - Senior Morgan Manrique showcases an original piece of art.
