On Thursday, Oct. 24, Maclay School supported Breast Cancer Awareness month with their annual Pink Out Day, where students were encouraged to wear pink to school. Sponsored by the Maclay Women's Service Club, this day aimed to spread awareness as well as educate others about breast cancer.
From pink clothes, accessories, backpacks and even pink hairspray, many students proudly showed off their school spirit as part of the “One School Wear Pink” slogan.
Sophomore Alexandra Holland expresses her perspective on the pink out day, showing her support by participating in this cause. When asked about her outfit, Holland showcased her pink shirt, pink cardigan and fun pink accessories.
“I think Pink Day is a lot of fun to be able to dress up in pink and support Breast Cancer Awareness,” Holland said. “Pink Day really brings us all closer together.”
Overall, pink out day was a success, with many Maclay students showing their support by wearing pink.
