On Oct. 31, two people were killed and seven people were injured when 17-year-old Jaylen Dwayne Edgar opened fire at a Halloween Celebration in Orlando, Fla. Orlando police released a video where the gunman entered the crowd, visibly raising his gun and shooting victims.

The victims who lost their lives in this shooting are Tyrek Hill, 25, and Timothy Schmidt Jr., 19. The ages of those injured range from 18 to 39. Two victims were hospitalized at Orlando Regional Medical Center under critical conditions, but are now in stable conditions. Those injured experienced gun wounds, and one victim had injuries from being trampled in the crowd.

The suspect was confirmed to be Edgar. Edgar has been filed with two counts of second-degree murder, with more charges expected, possibly first-degree charges.

Among over 400 mass shootings in the United States this year, this was Florida’s 27th shooting.
