Nature: Sophomore Josie Russo analyzes the theme of nature within Romanticism.


Robert Burns: Sophomore Camryn Chittendon tells the class about a Romantic poet Robert Burns.


Recite: Sophomore Melody Yu recites and analyzes a poem by William Wordsworth.


Human and Nature: Yu explains how poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge used the relationship between humans and nature in his poetry.


Presentation: Students are assigned a presentation about the Romantic Period and its prominent writers. 


The Noble Savage Theory: Sophomore Nidhi Ponnaganti presents the Noble Savage Theory to her class. The theory concerns humans becoming corrupt by society.


Corruption: After explaining the Noble Savage Theory, Ponnaganti points out examples of this theory and corruption within Romantic poetry. 


Creativity: Students who have been improving their presentation skills throughout the year in her class are given creative freedom for their PowerPoints.


Beauty: Sophomore Katie Nation dives into themes of beauty within Romanticism and materialistic views of different Romantic poets.


Listen: The class listens intently while their peers present. Each student takes a turn presenting to their classmates.
