On Friday, Dec. 13, Maclay’s dance department presented the “Holiday Spectacular Starring The Pebblettes.” The show was Maclay’s take on the well-known Radio City Rockettes show in New York. Every dance student taught by Adia Seckel was featured in the Holiday Spectacular, which was diverse in its holiday showcases.

The performers were from level one, level two and the dance team, The Valkyries, to celebrate different winter holidays, such as Christmas, Hanukkah and Diwali.”

The show consisted of two acts with a 15-minute intermission between them. Act one contained the pieces titled “Reindeer,” “Here Comes Santa,” “Trim up the Tree,” “Oh Santa,” “Toy Soldier,” We are Lights,” Doll on a Music Box,” “The Bells of Christmas” and “12 Days of Christmas.” Act two followed with “Make it Jingle,” “Where are you Christmas?,” “Pinga,” “Malhari,” “Snowman,” “Holiday Road,” “Auld Lang Syne,” Ma’oz Tzur,” “Man with the Bag” and “Jolly Jingle.”

“I think it went really well,” sophomore cast member Alexandra Holland said. “Everybody did the best that they could.”
