Maclay hosted its annual junior-senior prom on Saturday, March 22. Students and guests started gathering at 8 pm at the FSU Alumni Center. This year’s theme decided by the prom committee was the Regency Ball, a formal social event during the Regency era in England. Early tickets were $50 each, while tickets purchased at the gate were $75.

Prior to prom, Maclay students voted for the prom court nominees. The junior nominees were Molly McDonald, Addy Papuchis, Claire Smith, Tyson Willet, Manny Arisso and Abram Wildrick. The senior nominees were Suzanne Beshears, Lily Stejskal, Caroline Cureton, Taylor Harbin, Jack Kole, Josh De Kloet, Austin Koleman and Jack Daunt.

While enjoying the music, food and time with friends, students voted for prom king and queen. At 10:30 pm prom court nominees walked in couples, and the voting results were announced. This year’s prom king and queen were Stejskal and De Kloet.
