Maclay Implements School Calendar Change

Three Previous Vacation and Teacher Workdays Have Been Converted Into Regular School Days

After Maclay School closed due to the recent unexpected winter storm that hit Tallahassee, Fla. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, Head of School James Milford has announced that they will be converting three previous vacation and teacher workdays back into regular school days. This applies to all of Maclay School, including the lower, middle and upper school.

The re-established school days will follow the normal starting and ending times. They are as follows: Monday, Feb. 17: B1, Friday, April 4: A2 and Friday, April 18: B2.

April 4 was previously a teacher workday, while Feb. 17 and April 18 are holidays: Presidents’ Day and Good Friday, respectively. Spring Break and Summer Vacation dates have not been affected by this calendar change.
