Where the Dance Moms Girls Are Now

“Living on the Dance Floor” is the iconic intro to the well-known reality TV show “Dance Moms.” The show had its peak in 2013 and 2015 with the main cast of Abby Lee Miller, Jojo Siwa, Kendall Vertas, Paige and Brook Hyland, Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, Chole Lukasiak and Nia Sioux. This show had some of the greatest dancers that the whole world was watching, but where are these well-known dancers now, nine years later? 

Jojo Siwa

Siwa joined the team in early 2015 and left in 2019. Previous to the show, she was an internet sensation. Jojo created her own brand including bows, dolls, clothes and even songs. Everyone loved her on the show due to her taking the role of the underdog. Most of the time when she was in the show, she was picked on and not well-liked by the dancers or the teacher. So where is this internet sensation now? Siwa has since changed her brand from kids and bows to a more adult brand. She recently came out with a song and has quit YouTube and joined TikTok instead where she does most of her content. 

Kendall Vertas

Vertas joined in 2011 and left in 2019. After Dance Moms, she decided to go to James Madison University to finish her education and she will be graduating in 2025. Vertas was a key element in the show “Dance Moms” and was seen as one of the more bratty cast members. As the show progresses, Vertas grows on the audience and overall wins them over. Now, years later, she is still in the spotlight by creating a name for herself in the music and acting industry; although that is not her main focus. Her main focus is currently on school and her college’s dance team. 

Paige and Brooke Hyland 

Paige and Brooke were the sisters everyone adored. Although their time on the show was short, for most viewers they were definitely people that everyone remembers. The sisters joined the show in 2011 and left in 2014. The majority of the reason that Paige and Brooke left is due to the drama involving Miller and their mother, Kelly. Where is the dynamic duo now? Paige Hyland is now living a normal life and is attending the University of West. As for Brooke, she finished college at Ohio University. Both the sisters live more normal lives than their childhoods and have built up a following on TikTok and Instagram. 

Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler

The stars of the show were Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler. In the TV series, Maddie is seen as the golden child and Miller's favorite out of all the girls. Poor Mackenzie is personified as Maddie's shadow in the show and is seen as too young for the show. These sisters joined in 2011 and left in 2016 so where did the sisters go? Maddie quickly gained fame creating an image for herself becoming a model, actor, as well as a main dancer for Sia. She still dances in her free time but at a different studio. For Mackenzie, she went into the music industry and created multiple songs before stopping and decided to live a more calm life. 

Chole Lukasiak

Lukasiak was the most liked on the show by the audience. She made her first appearance in 2011 and decided to end her journey with “Dance Moms” in 2014.  She was always seen as second best after Maddie and overall showed the audience how sweet of a girl she is. After dance, she went to school and attended Pepperdine University and graduated in 2023. Since then, she has tried to stay away from the spotlight but has created a following on TikTok.

Nia Sioux

Sioux was seen as the least problematic person on the TV show. She arrived at “Dance Moms” in 2011 and left in 2017. She kept the show alive and was the most “normal” on the show. After she left the show, she decided to go to college at UCLA and is still attending. Although she does not dance anymore, she has become an influencer via social media making the majority of her content on TikTok. 

“Dance Moms” was an amazing show where the audience could watch people grow and see how they change. All these people were loved so much on the show and it is crazy to see what they are up to now. With time changing, no one knows what to expect out of people, but it is always fun to see the beloved kids now.
