After much anticipation, Wawa officially opened its doors in Tallahassee to the public, bringing its well known combination of fresh food, fuel and convenience. Wawa’s grand opening happened on Nov. 21, bringing a crowd of eager locals to see what it has to offer. Its entry into Tallahassee marks a significant branch to the chain, which originated in Pennsylvania.

“I’m excited,” senior Jacob Warwick said. “I like their sandwiches and food selection.”

Wawa has been being built in Tallahassee for a long time, and as the months have gone by, the anticipation has only grown. Wawa promises a modern design and new features aimed to enhance the customer experience. Whether it be families grabbing something to eat or students fueling up before class, this new location is starting to make a mark already.

Wawa’s arrival has already left an impression on the community, and as more locations are built, Tallahassee residents will have a new go-to spot for their needs.
