Maclay Football Versus Rocky Bayou

Grab and Go – As the running back grabs the football from senior quarterback Michael Grant, he looks down the field for an open receiver. When he realizes no one is open, he tries to find the route his teammates have cleared for him. Once he finds the opening, he takes off and runs as far and fast as he can before being stopped by Rocky Bayou’s defense.
Wide Open – Wide receiver Caleb Heuchan manages to lose the defense and find an open spot on the field. Michael Grant then makes the throw to Heuchan leading to an easy touchdown for the Marauders. 
Perfect Timing – Sophomore George Grant manages to break away from the Rocky Bayou defense just in time to receive the ball from the quarterback. As Grant finds an opening in the endzone, he quickly runs to fill the spot and waits for the thow, securing another touchdown for the Marauders.  
10/10 Kick – Kicker senior Michael Smith lines up to kick a field goal for an extra point. The ball is up, and it is in. Smith scores an extra point for the Marauders on his senior night.
Full Steam Ahead – The Maclay Marauders take an early lead in the first quarter over Rocky Bayou. Throughout the game they worked together and made sure they stayed on top the whole game.
Shoulder to Shoulder – The Maclay Marauders offensive line gets close together, shoulder to shoulder ready for the play to benign. Moments before their coach was giving them the signs for the play they will be running next.
Run the Play – Senior Michael Grant looks up the field for someone to throw the ball to. As he quickly runs over the play in his head, he remembers who should be open and completes the pass.
Protect the Quarterback – Maclay’s offensive line worked hard to protect their quarterback from the defense of Rocky Bayou. While making sure the quarterback has enough time to find a receiver and give him a good throw, the offensive line must work hard in order for everything to run smoothly. 
Don’t Get Lost in the Chaos – During Rocky Bayou’s confusing and chaotic plays, fans and players can hear the head football coach yelling to his players to not get lost in the chaos and to never lose sight of the ball. While many people watching may be confused and lost because they don’t know who has the ball, the Maclay Marauders have a pretty good eye and are able to work through the chaos.
Final Line Up – For many of the seniors on the football team, tonight was one of their last ever football games that they would play in. During this game many of the seniors were thinking back on all of the amazing and fun memories that have come from this sport. They celebrated all their years as a Marauder football player through the halftime ceremony honoring all seniors.
